Enrique Granados composed his monumental “Goyescas” (after Francisco Goya) in 1911, as a piano suite and in 1915 used its movements as the skeleton for his opera of the same title. In this program we present a selection of the original piano suite recorded by Cuban pianist Jorge Luis Prats.
