In an historic collaboration, the WFMT Radio Network presents the first broadcast series of a Chinese orchestra in the U.S.  KDFC’s Hoyt Smith hosts along with SSO’s Maestro Long Yu.  The season includes an all-star line-up of guest artists including Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Christian Tetzlaff, Yujia Wang, conductors Zubin Mehta and Sir Andrew Davis. The final concert in the season will be the grand prize-winning performance from the inaugural Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition, where the $100,000 prize was awarded.
