A native of Honeoye Falls, NY, Joshua returned to the Rochester area in 2018 after working at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, MI. Joshua was first exposed to classical music by his parents, and as a child often listened to Classical WXXI. His first foray into radio hosting was at Grove City College where he received a degree in Music Education. While in Michigan Joshua was involved with the Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen Arts Camp, and as the Monday afternoon host on Interlochen Public Radio.
When not on the air Joshua works at St. John Fisher College, plays volleyball, and is involved with music in the area, singing at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pittsford and with Musica Spei.
Beginning on February 24th Joshua will be the Sunday afternoon host on Classical FM WXXI, taking you from Sunday Baroque to The New York Philharmonic broadcast, and you can also hear him periodically fill in for other hosts.
