Join WXXI for Classical 91.5 Presents, a series that spotlights classical music connections in film.
This documentary brings Hollywood's premier composers together to give viewers a privileged look inside the musical challenges and creative secrecy of the world's most widely known music genre: the film score.
Show up early for live music in the Little Cafe by the Empire Film Music Ensemble starting at 2pm.
The screening will be followed by a discussion of the music and the film, with Emmy Award-winning composer and conductor Mark Watters who is director of the Beal Institute for Film Music and Contemporary Media at the Eastman School of Music and Matt DeTurck, Creative Director of the Rochester Fringe Festival.
